Finally... Marni maxi dress is out

Hello,
We finally seemed to have caught up with the sun last week. We had some amazing summer days and I had some time to catch up with the pictures as well. I love posting my outfits here and I am so happy that I am being able to post them again.

As you all know since the Marni collaboration we never had the weather to wear all the amazing dresses from the collection. Personally, I was dying to wear this one. The maxi dress was one of the main reasons why I queued in front of H&M early in the morning and this was the first garment I grabbed. I am so pleased I bought this, I am still loving the print and I just love the feeling of the silk against my skin.

I totally went for the beach summer in central London, but it was very hot indeed and I just couldn't resist grabbing the hat, when passing by a local H&M, so it was a last minute add on. I couldn't take the sun in my face any longer and I think it went quite well with this look too.

I have watermarked all pictures, as I have found some of my pictures on Ebay. A Ebay user was selling her Marni parka using all my pictures. Some people might have seen this is a compliment but I really don't want to have my face associated with a product that I am not actually selling myself. It's easily understandable, isn't it?

I was wearing: Dress + Necklace: Marni H&M, Shoes: See by Chloe, Bag: Zara.

See you soon.

Think pink

Hi guys,
Finally the summer has arrived and I had a lovely day out and about, enjoying the sunshine with the lovely feeling of being able to wear a skirt with my bear legs. Just leaving home like this felt like a luxury!
I was thinking pink but not in a legally blonde kind of way! I was just waiting for the weather to change to pair up this new silk top from Zara, another sale bargain, with this mini summer kilt.  I kept my summer sale buys to a minimum (to much contrast to my winter sale buys) investing only in pieces , which I think are key. I have so much stuff, as you guys can imagine, that now I am trying to buy only basic and timeless pieces to wear with my other wacky things.

At the same time, I am trying to detox and I have been throwing some clothes away. I am actually so proud of myself because I am not the best in giving away/getting rid of things but 3 or 4 big bags have already gone and I feel much better for it. Out with the old and in the new!  There are a lot of new things, sharing with you very soon.

Black and white + a touch of colour

Hellooo blogsphere,
Today, I'm posting an outfit picture. A couple of days ago, I was at the Forever 21 press day (which I shall be blogging about it shortly) and this was my look. I am so glad that the weather was perfect and  it was a nice mild evening, a rarity this summer in England!
Perfect timing to wear a new skirt from Zara, which I had my eye on for ages and hadn't seen in the shops for ages, was a snap on the sale and I just got it this week!  I was so excited when I came across it and of course, I had to buy it and I love it so much already. It's one of those pieces that it will go with everything and those are the signs of a great buy. I am sure you all will see it again here many times to come.

I was wearing: Jacket + Skirt: Zara, Blouse: Tibi, Clutch + Necklace: Jigsaw, Shoes: Ash.

Maxi Necklaces - New buys

Hi guys,
I haven't been posting much but I have been shopping a lot lately. The last couple of weeks I have been out and out about searching for some pairs of comfortable boots and other sale bargains. I have to say that not many sale items have been interesting me and I only bought a couple of items on sale so far. I am mostly shopping for the new collection items, it seems that I am already very tired in seen the old items around the shops still.

So, my jaw just dropped when I saw the new necklaces at Zara. I couldn't wait for my day off to dash to the west end to check this babies out. I could not really decide with ones to get, so I bought them all!!! The problem is I don't to keep all of of them, so I am posting them here and asking your opinion in helping me to chose. Which ones do you think I should keep?

This one looks divine on the picture,  It's nice but I am not very sure about it, I don't know why. I think it's the one I am least keen on because I have something similar to this already.

Well, this is the one I went in Zara for. It's absolutely huge and OTT but somehow very cool. I quite love it but when I got home, I saw 2 stones had gone missing! I swear I had checked at the shop for all the stones but somewhere from till to bag the stones where gone. Now, I just want to return it because of this. Really gutted about it, big time.

This is the one I actually like the most. Even more than the green one. This necklace is very me and it's a style that I always go for. In the picture does not look that great neither does it in the website, but for me this is one is a keeper and I loved it so much that I bought 2 of them, so I can paint the other one and transform it into a Tom Binns diy.

Sooooo, if I keep necklace number 3 (plus the spare one to colour in) I will have to return the other two, for sure. Because it would be over my budget and I don't even want to keep them all as I said.

But what should I do??? Please help!!!

See you soon.

Pretty Portobello on Portobello

Hello everyone,
I am back with an outfit post, some pictures taken down on Portobello Road. The summer is so not happening this year and that makes me depressed, all my lovely dresses and summer clothes still pretty much locked up and the weather hasn't been the most appealing for pictures either as still raining frequently, it's nor is much fun. At least it was a dry day with a cold morning (and hot afternoon),  a perfect day to enjoy the market.

I was wearing: Jacket: Topshop (very old), Skirt: Primark, Bag: Zara, Scarf: from Portobello Market.

See you soon.
