24 ways to tie a scarf - Hermes knotting cards

Hi guys,

I hope you all have been well. As a personal stylist, I frequently get asked about different ways, or even how should one tie a scarf?
The classic square scarf with a little bit of imagination can be won in so many ways. It can be a top, a hairband, a belt or even a bag.

Hermes, has realised some lovely set of cards that will come with your 'carre', which are a great source of inspiration. I have 2 of those sets and I have finally scanned the set number 3 to share with you. Plus, two of my favourite easy peasy ideas.

It's really easy, once you get going more and more ideas will pop into your head, so grab a scarf and just have fun!

See you soon.

Absolutely LOVE! I have a few of these cards from my Liz Claiborne days...when I traveled the US doing in-store fashion shows and hosting wardrobing seminars which included "scarf tying".

This is the 1st time I'm seeing scarves as handbags - I definitely need to try that out!

I just love scarves. Thank you so much for sharing.

Scarves are so versatile.
I have a vintage dress that is made from six silk scarves.
I've been wanting to copy it for ages but haven't got around to it yet; I just keep on buying scarves for when I eventually do.
I really like the bag idea.
I remember a few years back when 'Angels -the costumiers' had their big sale, people grabbed so much stuff that they couldn't carry it, instead they threaded scarves through all the bag handles & then pulled their motherload of vintage attire along the floor.

Thanks for posting these! The knotting cards are the best and it really opens up the imagination to the different types of scarf styles (I need to try more of the traditional neck ties!)

Have a good weekend and I see we have a few mutual blogger buddies too!
